After receiving the key, I realized that THIS was truly happening. I grabbed the family and went to check it out. The kids saw a big open room which was great for running around and playing. I saw something completely different - a glimpse into the future. I imagined clothes racks, artwork, accessories, music playing, and customers coming in and out. It was an amazing vision until I started to think, “How am I going to do that?” What I originally thought would be easy, actually wasn't. I had an empty space, a huge sense of “what have I done" mixed in with a ton of excitement. This place was a complete blank canvas. It was time to get some brushes and make this dream happen. That sounded so much easier in my head. For some reason I thought this was going to be super easy and I would open in about a week. I guess that's the dreamer in me because I couldn't have been more wrong.
